It has been an interesting couple of weeks since I last blogged. Ethan jumped off the jungle gym at the park and broke his foot. You should have seen it, he was running and jumping all over the doctors' office. It only seemed to bother him at night. He ended up going through two casts because he wore the first one out. Great times. We went to Moab last week, so nice. I just sat in the sun and played with the kids and hung out with the fam. Loved it! Today the kids have been super good. It is so nice when they are good and helpful. Makes my day so much easier. Went to see the OB, Ry asked why he wasn't getting the baby out yet, she is super excited to have a little sister. He said all looks great.

Today was so beautiful. Tom and I took the kids hiking up by the canyon. We then went to Ihop and then to a park in North Ogden. We played with my sister and her two kids and my little sister. It was lots of fun. I think I may have overdone it a little, but oh well. What do ya do?

Well, it has been too long since I have blogged! A lot has happened since I last posted so I am going to do a quick summary and then go from there. A year ago November, Tom and I bought a house. We love it. It needs some work for sure, but it fits us well and we have made some awesome friends because of the move. Last August I went in for a lap and found out that I have endometriosis and poly cystic ovarian disease. Fun stuff but it explains why I am always in pain. My doctor wants to remove everything before it causes serious problems. He said that it is not mandatory yet, so we can wait and finish our family first. So Tom and I chatted about it and decided that we were ready to have another baby. It took us two months. A lot quicker than what we had planned on. We are going to have a little girl and are totally excited! Ethan is two now and just a little stud muffin. He is such a sweet heart. He is currently trying to potty train himself. Rylee gets really excited for him when he uses the potty and I think that helps a ton. Rylee just turned four last week. I cannot believe how fast time goes by. It amazes me. She is so smart and strong willed. Totally her own little person. She brings so much joy to Tom and me. Well, I will try to keep up on this so check back. :)

Halloween

I know this is a little late, but hey, better late than never. Halloween was a lot of fun. The kids totally loved their costumes and loved being dressed up in them. Rylee was our little Monkey and Ethan was our little Dinosaur. The Wed before we took them to the ward Halloween activity. They got lots of candy and were able to just run around in their costumes. On Halloween night, we didn't do a lot of trick or treating because I was sick and we were trying to move at the same time. But we did take them up in Pleasant View some around the parents house and they seemed to enjoy it. Ethan didn't want us to hold his hand, he was fine just walking all by himself. When someone would answer the door, he would try and walk in, that was pretty funny. Rylee had lots of fun and was excited about all the candy she received. Then we went to Gammie's house and played. It was lots of fun!

Well, supose I should update this a bit. Ethan is now a walker and has been since he was 11 months old. He is getting molars and that is not fun at all!! He is also starting to talk. He can say mama, dada, ba ba (for bottle), bye, love you, movie and we think night night. He is super cute. Loves to take baths and play in any water. Rylee is now really starting to understand the whole Christmas thing. She is super excited that Santa Claus is going to bring her some toys. We got a new puppy, Sam. He is a Jack Russell mix, super cute. Rylee tells him "no, no" a lot and loves to hold him. She also lays on him sometimes. She is starting to really talk well, and some of the things that she says really amazes me. She is starting to become my little sidekick. She likes to help out a lot. Fun stuff. I will post some pics after Christmas!

Well, I think it is about time I update this again. Ethan is officially walking now. He has been able to for about the past month. Next Thursday he will turn one. It is sad to think that my baby will be one already. He is so funny. He shakes his head like he is trying to say no, but kind of lopesided and rolly. It is funny to watch. He also started squealing. That is pretty good as well. Rylee is really starting to talk now. She had her tonsils taken out almost two months ago. That was the worst two weeks of my parental years to date. She didn't feel well, wouldn't take her meds, and was just plain miserable the whole time. Though, I think it was worth it. She started calling me just "mom". It makes me feel like she is all grown up. She does call me mommy every once in a while still...thankfully. I cannot believe she is almost three, and that I have an almost three year old for that matter. She is a lot of fun and definately keeps me on my toes. She really likes to color and paint. Sometimes all over the house. The other day, she painted her carpet blue. It was great. As for Tom and I, we are doing good. We have started looking at homes to buy. That is sure an interesting process... And then of course, work, work, work. Anyways, more to come.

Ethan Has a Tooth!!

Ethan cut his first tooth today. I am sure that he does not enjoy the teething process, he has been kinda fussy the past two weeks. Rylee would get several teeth at one time, so far, Ethan is going for just one at a time. Oh how that will make for a long summer!!
