Well, supose I should update this a bit. Ethan is now a walker and has been since he was 11 months old. He is getting molars and that is not fun at all!! He is also starting to talk. He can say mama, dada, ba ba (for bottle), bye, love you, movie and we think night night. He is super cute. Loves to take baths and play in any water. Rylee is now really starting to understand the whole Christmas thing. She is super excited that Santa Claus is going to bring her some toys. We got a new puppy, Sam. He is a Jack Russell mix, super cute. Rylee tells him "no, no" a lot and loves to hold him. She also lays on him sometimes. She is starting to really talk well, and some of the things that she says really amazes me. She is starting to become my little sidekick. She likes to help out a lot. Fun stuff. I will post some pics after Christmas!

Well, I think it is about time I update this again. Ethan is officially walking now. He has been able to for about the past month. Next Thursday he will turn one. It is sad to think that my baby will be one already. He is so funny. He shakes his head like he is trying to say no, but kind of lopesided and rolly. It is funny to watch. He also started squealing. That is pretty good as well. Rylee is really starting to talk now. She had her tonsils taken out almost two months ago. That was the worst two weeks of my parental years to date. She didn't feel well, wouldn't take her meds, and was just plain miserable the whole time. Though, I think it was worth it. She started calling me just "mom". It makes me feel like she is all grown up. She does call me mommy every once in a while still...thankfully. I cannot believe she is almost three, and that I have an almost three year old for that matter. She is a lot of fun and definately keeps me on my toes. She really likes to color and paint. Sometimes all over the house. The other day, she painted her carpet blue. It was great. As for Tom and I, we are doing good. We have started looking at homes to buy. That is sure an interesting process... And then of course, work, work, work. Anyways, more to come.

Ethan Has a Tooth!!

Ethan cut his first tooth today. I am sure that he does not enjoy the teething process, he has been kinda fussy the past two weeks. Rylee would get several teeth at one time, so far, Ethan is going for just one at a time. Oh how that will make for a long summer!!

Rylee, Rylee, Rylee...

Rylee...what to say about Rylee. She is such a toad. She is into everything and totally loves her brother way too much. She lays on him trying to give him hugs. She does not like her picture taken with him, I learned that the hard way. She is finally learning to talk in sentences. We can have little conversations. She likes to sit in the bathroom with me when I am putting on my makeup and sometimes she likes to help. She likes to help make cookies and to do the dishes. I think that her most favorite thing right now is the bathtub. She will stay in the tub for over an hour. She holds her breath and puts her face in the water and acts like she is swimming. We hope to be able to teach her how to swim this summer. She really likes the water.

Ethan's Randomness...

This was Ethan's first experience with grass. Needless to say, he did not like it at all. We put him on a blanket and he would reach out and touch it, then get back on his blanket. He is almost seven months old now and is growing like a weed. He only weighs 14 pounds, he is a very active little boy. He figured out how to crawl last week, so now I get to go through and baby proof my house again. I think that he is getting some teeth, he likes to chew on everything!! He is a very happy little guy and is soooo sweet. When I hold him, he always plays with the back of my hair, and most times will hold on tight. Time has gone by so quickly, but I am loving every minute of it.

Yeah, that was just random stuff I was going to put on my other blog...hahaha.

Random Stuff

Well, life is going good. I had a rough patch there for a bit, but it seems to be getting better. I had to have my gall bladder removed, which made me feel oh so much better. Rylee turned two and Ethan is about to turn five months. I really cannot believe where the time goes and that my kids are growing up so fast. Work is going okay, Tom still does not have a job, but thankfully got an extension on his unemployment. Still having the cramping issue which no one seems to be able to figure out, but hopefully they will find out some day soon. It sure would be nice. Life is pretty mellow other than that. I started going to the gym, which is a great release for me. And I am excited to be in shape to go to Moab this year.

Rylee turned two on the 6th. She had a blast at her party. She especially enjoyed blowing out her birthday candles. We re-lit them several times. She would yell 'yay' and clap. It was great.
